News has just been announced by Walt Disney World--face coverings can now be removed for pictures starting April 8th!
(CNET)
According to sources WDW News Today and Disney Food Blog, you may remove your mask if you are getting your picture taken outside as long as you are properly social distanced and standing still from the select Photo Pass photographer or from other guests. No news has been reported on if this rule applies to taking pictures inside. I would assume you cannot for now, but the best way to find out is to nicely as a cast member if that is something you would like to do on your trip.
"Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. "
