HUGE DISNEY NEWS Regarding Park Reservations and the Disney Dining Plan!
Oh boy! Do we have a lot of news that's just been announced this week!
First off, Disney is NIXING its park pass reservation system starting January 9th, 2024. If you are planning a trip anytime in 2023, you will still need to utilize the reservation system. This rule applies to park guests, cast member passes, and annual passholders.
Disney Genie+ is also being simplified and becoming more user-friendly for guests. Lightning Lane will soon be available for day-of attraction reservations starting in 2024. No official date has been announced for the Genie+ changes.
The Disney Dining Plan will ALSO be returning starting January 9th, 2024. There will be two options available--Quick Service Dining Plans and Standard Disney Dining Plans. For those who don't know, the Disney Dining Plan works by you pre-paying in advance for the meals and snacks you want, so you can worry less about the hassle and cost of eating during your trip.
