Some very exciting news has been reported via WDW News Today, and that exciting news is Kali River Rapids has reopened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

The water ride has been under its annual refurbishment, but has since opened ahead of schedule! Kali River Rapids closed on February 19th, and was scheduled to reopen on April 2nd, but has been seen soaking brave riders today, March 29th! (However, the Walt Disney World website is still showing it closed for refurbishment, fyi.)

This is exciting news for all current Disney World guests, annual passholders, and those who are planning a trip or are about to leave. You should be able to experience this attraction at any point unless it goes down again; but knowing luck from previous years, it shouldn’t be under refurbishment again until early next year. No stopping random and uncalled for temporary ride closings though! Remember, you can always check the My Disney Experience app for any and all current temporary ride closings and refurbishments.
